These deals are worth clocking out early
1. Kwei Fei
James Island Sichuan eatery Kwei Fei offers happy hour bites and libations Tuesday through Thursday from 5-6:30 p.m. Grab a seat on the outdoor patio and snack on dumplings or peel and eat shrimp while sipping $4 Sapporo or $6 house wine.
2. Azul Mexicano
Park Circle’s new Mexican destination Azul offers post-work $2 Tecate and discounted margaritas to pair with a menu full of authentic dishes like molcajete and fried chimichangas.
3. Pink Cactus Charleston
Spring Street newcomer Pink Cactus offers $5 margaritas and $3 Tecates during its weekday happy hour, which runs from 5-7 p.m. Sip while enjoying discounted Oaxacan-style dishes on the brand new patio.
4. Chubby Fish
Head to Chubby Fish for a $1 Oyster Hour featuring locally-sourced, shucked-to-order bivalves from 5-6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. The power hour also includes $2 Tecate and $6 wine pours from French importer Frederick Corriher.

This Spring Street wine bar’s happy hour does feature discounted beverages, but the real star is executive chef Shaun Connelly’s inventive small plates. Find smoked trout dip, curry roasted carrots, and smoked paprika dusted Marcona almonds, all for under $10.

6. Baker and Brewer
Baker & Brewer is a mashup of two wildly popular North Charleston concepts, EVO Pizzeria and Holy City Brewing. Monday through Friday from 4-6 p.m., the eatery/bakery/brewery offers $3 select house beers, $4 well drinks, and $5 wines.
