Everyone has a favorite go-to burger, but with all the new restaurants opening in Charleston, there's bound to be a contender for an updated favorite. A few of these beefy creations are piled with toppings, while others keep it simple with the classic cheese, lettuce, onion, and tomato.

To be considered, Eater looked at restaurants less than a year old (or just a bit over) and establishments with completely revamped menus. These 13 choices are the latest hamburger options to hit the Lowcountry.
