Now open to the public

With a heavy Southern expansion, New Realm Brewing has recently opened its fourth location on Daniel Island in the former Dockery’s space. Known for craft beer, New Realm Brewing has also entered the distilling game bringing its own London dry gin, Tennessee Style bourbon, and vodka to the bar. With choices from Hazy Like a Fox IPA to the house liquor martini, New Realm wants to appeal to everyone on the island and pull in the downtown crowds.

Culinary director/chef Grant MacPherson focuses on bringing a higher level of expectation to beer-world dining. Breweries are often known for pop-up rotating food trucks, New Realm looks to level up the beloved basics by adding twists like the Asian-style loaded fries and the Holy City grilled cheese. MacPherson uses local purveyors for the base ingredients including baked goods, cheeses, and seasonal vegetables. There’s options for all ages and dietary restrictions range from meat lover to vegan. Even the burger comes in options with the classic New Realm burger, the Beyondburger (vegan) and the wagyu burger.

The large outdoor patio includes a bar for easy access to a second or third round of drinks. Big screen televisions around the indoor bar allow for game watching — cue Clemson orange and Gamecock crimson colors. At the front of the restaurant a larger stage sits for live local music.

With the continued growth on Daniel Island, the expansive size of New Realm lends for an after work drink or an after hours work party.
