First Look at the Sushi Bar From Super Popular Charleston Restaurant 167 Raw

Plus a peek at the menu

Erin Perkins is the editor of Eater Carolinas.

The team behind the always-packed seafood restaurant 167 Raw has opened a new sushi spot in Charleston. 167 Raw Sushi Bar sits at the original location of 167 Raw at 289 East Bay Street. The space went empty when the restaurant moved to a bigger space at 193 King Street.

167 Raw Sushi Bar has a menu of classic choices of nigiri, sashimi, and hand rolls. The eatery also offer izakaya options like a katsu sando and yakatori. There are a number of ever-rotating options. The full menu can be seen at the end of this post.

The new restaurant is open Monday through Saturday, starting at 4:00 p.m. 167 Raw Sushi Bar does not take reservations, so it is first come; first serve. The dining room has 24 seats, so spaces will go fast.

Take a look around the updated interiors here. There’s fun new art and sushi-themed touches throughout the bar.
