First Look at the Historic Post House Reopening in Old Village Tomorrow

Grab a sneak peek here

Restaurant/inn Post House went dark in early 2019 after serving the Old Village since 2003, but now it now has updated life with new owners Kate and Ben Towill of design and hospitality firm Basic Projects. The couple, behind projects like Basic Kitchen, gave the space a sleek makeover. Basic Projects is known for its Instagram-worthy interiors.

As far as the menu goes, former Renzo chef Evan Gaudreau is at the helm to execute “seasonal contemporary American food.” The lineup includes grilled lamb skewers with wild onion ranch, bar steak with hotel butter, a “back-bar” cheeseburger, eggplant parmesan, chargrilled mahi, and more.

The restaurant opens on Saturday, August 22. At first, Post House will serve dinner, Tuesday through Sunday, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., but will eventually add a brunch service.

Take a tour of the newly remodeled dining room, bar area, and outdoor seating here before the big opening.
