Lowcountry Restaurants Begin the Slow Journey Towards Allowing Customers Inside

Only a handful of restaurants are reopening

South Carolina restaurants can reopen dining rooms now — but who is forging ahead to test the Covid-19 waters? Many patios reopened and more takeout continues, including a new delivery option from Chinese-American hotspot Jackrabbit Filly and a box of healthy meals and juices from Basic Kitchen. For those customers that just can’t wait to be in a restaurant again, here’s a list of open spots. If we forgot anyone, feel free to email us.

Many of these restaurants are running at half capacity to keep proper social distancing measures in place. It may be wise to call ahead to see if there is a wait or to reserve a table. Many places won’t allow parties larger than 10, so if you have a big group, also call ahead.
