A Quick Look Back at Charleston Wine + Food 2020

After 15 years, the festival is still going strong

The 15th year of Charleston Wine + Food has passed, and perhaps the hangovers have finally ceased. From the extravagant Signature Dinners to guest chef lunches to foraging sessions, there was plenty going on to keep visitors and locals busy.

The festival began with a downpour on Wednesday, March 4, but a bit a rain didn’t stop hungry ticket holders from packing in under the tents for the Opening Ceremony. Every big name chef in Charleston was there. Going forward into the week, the rain stopped, and festival devotees descended onto Marion Square for the Culinary Village experience.

Outside of the Square, Eater photographer Robert Donovan captured a luncheon at Workshop, a foraging experience, and the Southern Renaissance. Take a look here for a few of the scenes and bites from the 2020 Charleston Food + Wine festival.
