For those tired of waiting in line to get into the tiny East Bay Street location of 167 Raw, there’s a more spacious option waiting at 193 King Street. The team behind the lobster roll emporium recently opened its newest dining room on Sunday, January 26, with much fanfare.
The dining room is beautiful (more pictures to come), and the menu adds a bit more than the original location but with the same favorites. Oysters, lobster rolls, fish tacos, and fresh catches remain on the menu. For the new, there’s a miso-and-roe-topped sweet potato dubbed the Space Potato and caviar service with a crispy potato waffle for accouterment.
Annnnnd let’s go! Our new home at 193 King

The restaurant has a large bar up front, raw bar seating, several traditional tables inside and out, and a standing outdoor bar. It’s a convivial space with a hip soundtrack and non-stuffy service. The South-of-Broad crowd mingled with the young professionals on opening week.
Even though it grew by multiple seats, the restaurant still feels like the East Bay location with a focus on seafood, hospitality, and a bit of throwing tradition to the wind.
