Former Crust Wood Fired Pizza chef Dusty Chorvat is close to opening his James Island restaurant Food Fight. Opening in the former Roadside Seafood spot at 807 Folly Road, Food Fight has a diverse menu ranging from fried deviled eggs to Korean fried chicken to curried shrimp pizza to pork belly ramen.
Back in March, Chorvat told Charleston City Paper that he wanted to bring a unique restaurant to his home turf of James Island. The restaurant will be family friendly and will open for lunch and dinner.
Food Fight is scheduled to unlock the doors very soon, and in anticipation, Chorvat posted the entire menu on Facebook, along with a few photos of the renovations to the 807 Folly Road space.
It’s eclectic and unexpected in a wave of new American restaurants popping up around the Lowcountry — will James Island residents take to the newcomer?
Menu...Most of it, anyway. We’re still adding things but this gives y’all a pretty good idea of things to come!
