Charleston Restaurants Gather at Tu for Planned Parenthood Bake Sale

On Sunday, July 21, area restaurants will gather at Indian eatery Tu for a bake sale benefitting Planned Parenthood. The event starts at 11 a.m. and runs until 3 p.m. Look for food and drinks from spots like Babas, Renzo, the Ordinary, FIG, Basic Kitchen, Josephine Wine Bar, Life Raft Treats, Scram, Kwei Fei, Tu, Xiao Bao Biscuit, Melfi’s, Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit, Handcraft Kitchen & Cocktails, Jackrabbit Filly, Wildflour, the Harbinger, Goat Sheep Cow, Brown’s Court, and more. All proceeds go to benefit Planned Parenthood.

Guest bartenders

While the crew from Upper King bar Proof are at Tales of the Cocktail, they’ve left veteran bartenders Roderick Hale Weaver and Bear Barrow in charge. Stop in on Tuesday, July 16, for a special menu of new creations.

On Thursday, July 25, Leon’s Oyster Shop invites Chicago-based establishments Giant and Chef’s Special Cocktail Bar for a pop-up event featuring American Chinese food and special libations. No tickets required.
