The managing partners of Charleston’s Basic Kitchen and the team behind New York City-based the Fat Radish plan to open a second Fat Radish in Savannah. The restaurant will sit at 36 MLK Jr. Blvd., inside the Windrose Apartment Hotel.
Former Fat Radish partner Ben and wife Kate Towill, who opened Basic Kitchen in Charleston and run Basic Projects are behind the design and development of the boutique hotel. The Fat Radish team members include partners Natalie Freihon and Phil Wisner, executive chef Nick Wilber, and director of operations Michelle Watanabe.
“Savannah has this wonderful, eclectic energy that we find super inspiring,” said Freihon, “We have come to love the hospitality community here and are thrilled to contribute to it. The Fat Radish Savannah has been a long time coming and we could not be more excited to open our doors this summer.”
