Fancy cooler store Yeti will open at 360 King Street on Friday, June 14, with a bar full of craft beer, wine, coffee, and snacks. Customers will be able to throw a few back while contemplating a $1,300 summertime addition to their boats.

The bar/store will also host live entertainment, film screenings, and workshops. The folks at Yeti want it to be a local gathering spot.

In celebration of the opening on June 14, Yeti will host an event featuring tacos from Austin’s Valentina’s Tex Mex BBQ. On Saturday, June 15, James Beard award-winning pitmaster Sam Jones will be on premise to sign his new book Whole Hog BBQ: The Gospel of Carolina Barbecue. On Sunday, June 16, the store will auction off custom-painted yeti coolers to benefit Charleston Waterkeeper. Since it’s Father’s Day, dads who make a purchase get a beer on the house.

So, do you see yourself hanging at the Yeti bar?
