Short Grain Alums Test Out New Restaurant Before Opening

Former Short Grain food truck co-owners Shuai and Corrie Wang plan to open their brick-and-mortar restaurant, JackRabbit Filly, this summer. In preparation of the launch, the team will test out a few menu selections at Ion wine bar the Shellmore on Wednesday, May 15, and Thursday, May 16.

The Short Grain duo teamed up the the partners at Park Circle wine bar Stems & Skins to bring Jackrabbit Filly to life — sommelier Matt Tunstall will lead the beverage selections, Angie Tunstall will become the general manager, and Justin Croxall will provide support.

The kitchen will focus on Chinese dishes on the hot side and Japanese raw bar items on the cold side.
