After over 31 years of serving hush puppies on Hilton Head Island, the Salty Dog Cafe announced via Facebook that it will expand to Bohicket Marina on Johns Island. First reported by Holy City Sinner, the restaurant made the announcement on March 19.
The Salty Dog Cafe is coming to one of South Carolina’s best kept secrets - the Bohicket Marina - nestled between the beautiful Kiawah and Seabrook Islands.
With a scheduled May 2019 opening, the new Bohicket Marina location will feature the same legendary Salty Dog experience and service, perfectly paired with picturesque waterfront views and sunset dining on the docks.
Official opening date coming soon - stay tuned!
The Salty Dog Cafe serves popular Southern dishes like gator bites, pimento cheese, she crab soup, Lowcountry boil, shrimp platters, and more. Other than the food, the restaurant is well known for its t-shirts emblazoned with the Salty Dog logo. Pretty much anyone living in the South has seen one of these shirts walking around.
