New Jersey pop-up We Flew South will no longer make regular appearances around the Lowcountry after Friday, February 1. The cheesesteak slingers made the announcement on Facebook and Instagram.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce our last pop-up will be be this Friday @craftconundrum We have had an incredible year and are grateful to have had a chance to serve so many of you. Come get your last cheesesteak. Keep your eyes peeled...there may be a few big events still to come. Thank you to everyone who helped and supported us.

Co-creators Marc and Elizabeth Hudacsko started the pop-up in spring 2018. They wanted to bring the flavors of their hometown, New Jersey, to Charleston. Chili dogs, cheesesteaks, and Reuben sandwiches were on heavy rotation on the menu. The often popped up at Graft and Craft Conundrum.

The We Flew South status hints that this may not be goodbye forever, but it’s the last chance for a Hudascko cheesesteak for the foreseeable future.
