NoMo food hall Workshop announced that taco food truck Rebel Taqueria will fill in the space left by the departure of Tex-Mex stall Juan Luis.
Starting on Wednesday, September 26, Rebel Taqueria will serve a menu similar to the one found on the truck, which includes California-style burritos and tacos.
Rebel Taqueria has been popping up across the Lowcountry for the past three years with the truck and its Taco Tequila Combat events — these are restaurant takeover events where the host kitchen must battle Rebel Taqueria for the title of best taco.
Rebel Taqueria will be open seven days a week at Workshop. The current offerings at the KIng Street food hall include Vietnamese food from Pink Bellies (October 14 is the final day for this concept), Italian comfort at Two Fat Olives, and Cuban realness from Spanglish.
