2 Nixons Permanently Sets Up Ramen Shop at Proof

Ramen masters 2 Nixons will be a permanent fixture at cocktail bar Proof on Fridays and Saturdays going forward. Chef Jeffrey Stoneberger says to expect yakatori, noodles, and other snacks at the Upper King establishment. Stoneberger explains the decision to go steady with the bar:

After we sold over 100 bowls of ramen on consecutive Saturdays, Proof owner Craig Nelson and I sat down and worked out something special for Charleston. We will be serving every Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m.

We hope, just like Proof has done for years, to serve all walks of soc/economic status from the Mayor to the new line cook at Parcel 32 to the college kid who just came back to school. Proof is an amazing space — I mean how many places in Charleston can you meet Dave Chapelle?
