WESTSIDE — New-ish pop-up We Flew South blends a Jersey diner with a deli and a red sauce joint. Normally, patrons find cheesesteaks and chili dogs at the pop-ups, but on Friday, August 17, at Daps, the team at We Flew South will provide garlic bread, chicken and eggplant parmesan, Sunday gravy, cannolis, and more for dinner, starting at 5 p.m. [Facebook]

UPPER KING — Craving noodles after a few drinks downtown? Stop by Proof on Saturdays for the August takeover by 2 Nixons. Chef Jeffrey Stoneberger and team will provide ramen, yakatori, and other Japanese-influenced snacks. [Facebook]

NOMO — Super cheese and wine provider Goat Sheep Cow North is flirting with the idea of brunch. The first one, hosted on Saturday, August 25, will feature personal favorites from the staff. The restaurant/store is hoping to make this a regular event taking place on the last Saturday of each month. Brunch will will run from 11:00am to 3:00pm. There will be some specials for brunch beverages as well including an Aperol spritz, Lillet rosé drink, and $5 rosé. [EaterWire]
