Bked Shop Sweetens WestEdge With Sprinkled Doughnuts

Opening on Friday

Erin Perkins is the editor of Eater Carolinas, covering the food and restaurant scene across North and South Carolina.

Find fancy, creative doughnuts and more at the brick-and-mortar location of the popular Bked dessert truck. The airy, yeast creations always go really fast whenever the truck (or farmers market booth) shows up with a seasonal flavor or a staple, like the cereal milk version, so the new WestEdge location should be popular when it opens on Friday, June 22.

Bked joins the WestEdge community of residential, office, retail, and restaurant spaces going up across from the Riverdogs’ stadium. When the project is finished, it will house 50+ new shops and restaurants.

The brick-and-mortar Bked will have all the fan-favorite doughnuts, but also other treats like banana pudding and brownies. The shop will also offer espresso drinks, drip coffee, teas, and milkshakes.

Located at 99 WestEdge St., Bked opens daily from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Learn more about the menu and more information on the updated website found here.
