While the cadets at The Citadel Military College have been enjoying spicy chicken sandwiches and waffle fries since last November, much of the surrounding neighborhood is just now learning that there’s been a Chick-fil-A within walking distance of them this whole time.
Located at 4 Avenue of Remembrance inside The Canteen at the military institution, the college campus Chick-fil-A is making its presence known with signs around Hampton Park and posting hours in the infamous I Live in Wagener Terrace Facebook group.
The hours are from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday to Thursday, until May 25, and then will reopen on May 29 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Congrats to those among the neighborhood who crave Chick-n-Minis, nuggets, and strips — you don’t have to drive to the Calhoun Street location anymore.
