For those who long for the hangover-curing abilities of the Charleston Nasty at Hominy Grill, but don’t live in the Lowcountry, today looks to be a very lucky day, as the infamous gravy-smothered fried chicken biscuit is now available for delivery across the country for the first time. No need to recreate the secret spices and sausage gravy at home, as it will come right to your doorstep.
Online gourmet food delivery service Goldbely recently went live with the new offering from Charleston. As the website details, each order comes with four biscuits, four buttermilk-fried chicken breasts, shredded Cabot cheddar cheese, and sausage gravy. The whole package retails for $109 currently, with free shipping within the continental U.S. Orders ship on Monday for Tuesday delivery, as well as Tuesday for Wednesday delivery.
Once the package arrives, there is a bit of assembly required, but it should take less time than a flight to Charleston and a wait in line for brunch at Hominy Grill.
