LOWER KING — 1Kept, which is located on the first floor of the Renaissance Hotel, is set to host the James Beard Foundation’s Celebrity Chef Tour dinner on Thursday, April 26, at 6 p.m. The event is entitled “Road to Charleston” and will feature three chefs from Atlanta — where the original 1Kept is located — along with three from Charleston. Cynthia Wong, who recently announced her impending departure from Butcher & Bee, is among the participating chefs along with Bob Cook of Edmund’s Oast, and Josh Keeler from 492.
