The go-go dancers on the bar have been replaced by bottle service hostesses at 28 Ann St., as the former Club Pantheon/Cure Nightclub space opens this week as DECO. Charlotte-based restaurateur Tyler Wicker purchased the address in May 2016, with hopes of a renovation and bringing a new nightclub experience to downtown Charleston.

On Friday, April 20, beginning at 9:00 p.m., DECO will open the doors to the public to check out the changes. The club has 11 VIP tables, a large granite bar, an expansive dance floor, a mirrored DJ booth, numerous chandeliers, and Art Deco-inspired interiors.

The VIP tables can hold up to 20 people comfortably. These spots offer a “VIP bottle service experience,” with VIP hostesses, valet parking, private security, and a VIP entrance. To book tables, email christinavip@decocharleston.com. A press release reads that “Wicker is excited to bring the Lowcountry an upscale experience that can be enjoyed by everyone.”

DECO opens Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, from 8 p.m. until 2 a.m.

Here’s a quick tour before the bachelorettes, ballers, and DJ followers file in.
