Pizzeria/wine bar Renzo hosted a few pizza parties last week, but now its officially open to the public (at 5 p.m.). The 384 Huger St. restaurant comes from the proprietors of hip bar The Faculty Lounge, Erik Hutson and Nayda Freire. Those lucky enough to attend one of the pre-opening shindigs are saying good things about chef Evan Gaudreau’s neo-Neopolitan and Detroit-style pizzas.

The rest of the menu includes snacks of roasted radishes with kefir ranch, a guanciale and pineapple pie, roasted rapini with pepperoni and xo sauce, bucatini in a vodka sauce, and Fernet ice cream. The entire menu is below, as posted on Instagram.

The doors open for dinner service from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., on Friday and Saturday, and beginning next Tuesday, there will be a happy hour from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and the kitchen stops at 10 p.m. during the week (closed Sunday and Monday). Take a tour around Renzo here, and read up on the back story here. Brace for many more pizzas in your Instagram feed this weekend.
