Lower Meeting Street hasn’t seen an upscale cocktail bar since the days of Club Habana, but the newly opened Doar Brothers wants to bring more sophisticated libations to the area.

Co-owners Jonathan and Adam Doar, along with general manager Peyre Lumpkin and bar manager Megan Deschaine, opened the new lounge at 225 Meeting St., the site of former wine bar O’Hara & Flynn.

The bar offers cocktails like the Little Darling with lemon sorbetto, cava, and rose water, or the French Huguenot with gin, truffles, and Dolin dry. Most libations will run customers $10. There’s also wine and beer options.

Jonathan is in the kitchen and puts out plates like local snapper crudo with grapefruit and radishes, burrata with prosciutto and apple, brown butter popcorn with truffle salt, and more.

Take a look around here at the 35-seat establishment and the cocktail and food menus. Doar Brothers joins the ranks of FIG, Peninsula Grill, and Charleston Grill in the neighborhood.
