The Granary to Shutter in January

Only a few days left

The Granary
Erin Perkins is the editor of Eater Carolinas, covering the food and restaurant scene across North and South Carolina.

Mount Pleasant restaurant the Granary recently informed its staff that the last day of operation will be Monday, December 31.

“Making the decision to close the Granary was certainly a difficult one. We are very sad to close our doors but truly appreciate the support from all of our guests. We are very grateful for our hardworking staff and we are working hard to place all of them within the Indigo Road restaurants,” said Steve Palmer, Managing Partner for The Indigo Road Restaurant Group.

The Granary originally opened in December 2013 on Long Point Road with restauranteur/chef Brannon Florie. In early 2017, the restaurant moved to a new space on Coleman Boulevard and reopened as an Indigo Road property. Florie left in October 2017, and chef Curtis Wilson stepped in. Florie still has many other restaurants to manage, like Pier 41, On Forty-One, and Pier 22.

Will another restaurant take over the Granary’s space?
