Erin Perkins is the editor of Eater Carolinas, covering the food and restaurant scene across North and South Carolina.

Southern-meets-Hawaiian restaurant Wiki Wiki Sandbar opened last week on Folly Beach with some wildly creative interiors.

Wiki Wiki Sandbar has five rooms with different themes and works from local artists. The restaurant/bar includes: the Octopus Bar with works from Jeff Kopish, the Diorama Room with works by Hirona Matsuta, the Sunset Room with “a sunset-inspired Venetian plaster design” by Suzanne Allen, the Wave Room with a sculpture made of Japanese glass floats, and a tiki bar on the top floor.

Eater photographer Leslie Ryann McKellar took a tour through the 106 East Ashley Ave. addition here.

Other than colorful interiors, Wiki Wiki Sandbar offers a menu of Hawaiian and Southern cuisine, like slow-roasted pork, a pu-pu platter, and Spam sliders. There’s also plenty of tropical tiki drinks on the beverage side.

Wiki Wiki is now open for lunch and dinner Sunday through Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
