Charleston is about to get its first taste of private liquor lockers. The new Bourbon N’ Bubbles opening this fall at 570 King St. plans to offer memberships that include walnut lockers replete with a nameplate.
A first for the city, according to Charleston City Paper, the locker memberships also offer owners “priority seating on reservations, membership entry, and discounts on events, bottles, and food.”
While the calling cards of the nightclub include swanky bourbons and champagnes, with Tattinger champagne and Buffalo Trace bourbon representing the house pours, BNB also plans to serve a small plates pairing menu from executive chef Steve Jackson, who has more than 30 years of experience in the industry.
That interior will match the high-end pours, with marble, velvet banquettes, and bronze fixtures swaddling the decor.
Back in July, creative director Lamar Bonaparte told Eater that he wants the rooms to have a cosmopolitan feel and stay intimate and fun. He also says to expect a lot of Motown and Micheal Jackson on the playlist, with an occasional live music night.
