After four months on King Street, Parcel 32 kicks off a Sunday brunch service featuring classic dishes with a twist.
Rather than serving shrimp with grits, chef Shaun Brian is offering them in a Johnny cake hand pie topped with a habanero-lime aioli. Diners can also expect to find an egg atop their remixed “smash burger,” with a beef-mushroom blend slathered in a slightly-spicy “smash sauce.” Buttermilk biscuits and gravy, a fried oyster po’ boy, deviled eggs, French toast with carmelized apples and dulce de leche, and a butter shrimp hand pie are among the dishes.
Bubbly cocktails and strong coffee highlight a beverage menu taking the usual brunch-hits to the next level.
The affordable new service — prices for main dishes ring in between $6 and $13 — starts Sunday, Nov. 4, and runs from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
