Sushi and taco empire makers Locals Sushi expands its footprint to include Park Circle now.
The sushi side of the menu features the competition 2011 roll with a snow crab mix, cream cheese, jalapeños, asparagus, yellowtail, and avocado; the competition 2012 with a snow crab mix, crispy onions, mango, cilantro, shrimp, and jalapeños, and the Caribbean with tempura shrimp, cream cheese, and avocado, topped with sweet plantains, sweet soy glaze, and Sriracha.
Other options include the Locals burger with melted cheddar, house-brined pickles, onions, and house sauce; Grama Gie’s chicken sandwich with a spicy sweet peach slaw and house made pimento cheese; the F.G.B.L.T. with a fried green tomato; the brisket mac and cheese; a chicken quesadilla; the brisket Philly with peppers, fried onions, slow-smoked brisket with white American and spicy aioli; and, of course, tacos and brisket, shrimp, or tuna.
Mondays feature half-off sushi starting at 3 p.m. while Tuesdays offer buy one, get one half-price tacos for lunch and dinner, $2 off select tequilas, and trivia from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays not only have an open mic but half-price bottles of since and three classic rolls for $12 at lunch and dinner. Pick up buy one, get one half-priced on sushi rolls on Thursdays at lunch and dinner. Every Monday through Saturday features live music.
The restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
