NORTH CENTRAL — On Sunday, August 6, from 6 p.m. to midnight, The Get Down will host a party pop-up titled MILK at 708 King St. in the warehouse space next to Pancito & Lefty. It’s a $5 cover at the door and cocktails, beer, wine, and sake will be for sale. There’s also a lineup of four local DJ and Asian-inspired bites from chef Robert Berry. WEST ASHLEY — Southern favorite The Glass Onion will host a Summer Rose Send-Off for its August Charity Tasting on Wednesday, August 9 from 5:30p.m. to 7:30p.m. The tasting costs $10 per person and benefits the Palmetto Warrior Connection.
