Top Chef alum Emily Hahn will step down from her position as executive chef at Spring Street restaurant Warehouse this September. “After four great years, the time has come for us to part ways and head in new directions. We wish Emily the best in her next endeavor, and are equally excited for a new approach to the Warehouse kitchen,” says Warehouse owner James Groetzinger.
Under Hahn, the Warehouse gained a reputation for interesting, internationally influenced plates in a casual bar atmosphere. Snail pizza, lamb meatballs, and white bean hummus with charred broccoli sat on the menu with more traditional pub fare like dry-rubbed wings, and fish and chips.
Hahn has not disclosed where she will go after leaving, but the chef did tell Post and Courier that she will stay in Charleston.
Groetzinger has not named a successor for Hahn.
