Mount Pleasant Greek restaurant Kairos announced a May opening earlier this month and kept that promised as it opened the doors last week. The concept from former Lana chef John Ondo brings fast-casual options for bowls, pitas, and salads with lamb, chicken, falafel, and meatballs with traditional toppings and spreads.

The website with the full menu is up and running with a very saucy description of the restaurant:

Kairos is the ancient Greek word for “Supreme Moment”. We have many supreme moments here at Kairos. The moment our made-in-Mount Pleasant falafels sink into the cooker. The moment we drizzle tzatziki sauce over our succulent, slow-roasted lamb. The moment we serve our baba ganoush. But the golden moment we look forward to seeing most is our guests sharing healthy, Greek-inspired dishes with one another. So when you’re in the mood for a quick, delicious pita, a fresh salad or a craveable bowl, come to Kairos.

Kairos opens daily from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at 1100 Bowman Rd., Building 3, Suite 101.
