Looking for a Mexican-influenced lunch this week? Maybe a few margaritas and a side of guacamole to greet the spring? Two recently opened restaurants, Pancito & Lefty and Congress, have opened up services for midday meals.
Hip North Central eatery Pancito & Lefty keeps the same full menu from 11:30 a.m. until close with an additional happy hour menu from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Now patrons can lunch on queso fundido, vampiros, pozole, chilaquiles, and more.
Mount Pleasant’s Italian/Mexican restaurant Congress now serves a midday menu on Tuesday through Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Look for short rib and chicken Milanese tortas, pork, skirt steak, and crispy fish tacos, red enchiladas, housemade gnocchi, fresh churros, and more. Below is the full lunch menu.
