Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit Opens Third Store Today

A buttery empire grows

Perhaps the long lines at 476 King St. will lessen this weekend as Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit opens a second shop in the Charleston City Market today. Across from the Caviar & Bananas space in the indoor market, Callie’s will serve up the same flakey goodness crowds have come to love on Upper King.

Opening at 8:00 a.m. today, the shop will give away free biscuits until 10:00 a.m.

In addition to the two Callie’s in Charleston, owner Carrie Morey also has a space in Atlanta. What started as a small team of bakers keeping a Southern tradition going by way of home delivery has turned into a storefront sensation.

Stop by Upper King or The Market to sample one of Morey’s creations and stalk her Instagram here for a peek at the new space.

Another view from the top! @callieshotlittlebiscuit @chascitymarket Sooooooo Close! #hlb3
