Parisian-Inspired Cocktail Bar Joins Upper King This Summer

With all the new construction on Upper King finishing up, storefronts are filling in with new establishments. New Orleans-based shop Revelator Coffee Company recently moved into 550 King St. and now the cafe will have a new, boozy neighbor this summer by way of Paris (sort of). Forthcoming Félix will serve as a Parisian-inspired cocktail bar with small plates.

First announced last June, Félix comes from restaurateur Félix Landrum, who ran Cafe Felix in Ann Arbor, Michigan for the past 20 years. Landrum told The Post & Courier that while his Ann Arbor restaurant is a bistro, “The Charleston location will predominantly be a cocktail bar with menu items for lunch and dinner and brunch on weekends.”

Landrum brought in Nathan Thurston of Thurston Southern for collaboration on the menu.
