MAZYCK-WRAGGBOROUGH — Chef Sarah Adams spent several weeks eating across Southeast Asia, and now she’s back with inspiration from her experiences. She’s cooking at DIG SOUTH’s Upload Shindig on Tuesday, April 25, starting at 6:00 p.m. She cited congee with bouncy pork meatballs as a possible dish. Edmund’s Oast will provided the beers. Tickets are still available for $50. [EaterWire]

CANNONBOROUGH/ELIOTTBOROUGH — On Monday, May 8, newcomer Sorghum and Salt will host a beer dinner featuring Freehouse Brewery. Chef Tres Jackson will prepare four courses of local, seasonal products paired with four different handmade, organic beers at $45 per person. Reservations can be made via Resy or by calling (843) 872-6393. [EaterWire]

HARLESTON VILLAGE — Scholarship deadlines are approaching for FAB Charleston (get those in by May 5). The 48-hour conference, starting on Sunday, June 11, highlights kick-ass women in food and beverage businesses. The 31 speakers will prepare attendees on how to get ahead in the hospitality world. Attendees can also dine with any of the speakers in a small group — a super-rare opportunity to break bread with women at the top of their industry. Tickets are still available. [EaterWire]
