While the signage in the former Boone’s Bar space announces upscale boutique Skinny Dip is coming to 345 King St., a recent press release slips in that a coffee shop and wine bar will also be part of the concept. Mount Pleasant-based Rudi’s Caffe e Vino will run the bar on the second floor of the address — there will also be an outdoor patio.
Charleston City Paper spoke with the owners of the Rudi’s, and they explained that the wine will lean Italian and there will be charcuterie. Patrons who get tipsy on sparkling wines will be able to shop men and women’s selections, including a hat collection by Shep Rose of Bravo reality show Southern Charm.
According to the press release, Skinny Dip will be open on April 1.
