Chef Micheal Kramer, the opening executive chef of McCrady’s (pre-Sean Brock), spent the past four years in Greenville, SC with the Table 301 Restaurant Group. He also took on the role of executive chef at acclaimed eatery The Lazy Goat . For his latest project, Kramer opened Italian restaurant Jianna on the second floor of 600 S. Main St.
The menu includes fresh pastas, such as pappardelle with lamb ragu, trumpet mushrooms, and mascarpone, large plates like grilled chicken with white Beans, ‘nduja, and tomatoes, and plenty of raw oysters.
Jianna opens Tuesday through Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., serves lunch on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with an abbreviated menu from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
