Former downtown favorite The Brick wants to once again woo Charleston with local beers, burgers, po’boys, and bar snacks. Relaxed bar The Brick was a part of the lower peninsula nightlife, before a fire destroyed the building over three years ago. Like many of those cocktail seekers, The Brick decided to relocate more up north and to a new address. Owner Matt Quillen announced last year that his bar will reopen in the former Charleston Tea Company building and Festiva sales center at 24 Ann St.
Today is the day that all the former patrons and newcomers will be able to check out the new digs for The Brick. Opening at 11:00 a.m., the Ann Street bar will unlock the doors seven days a week until 2:00 a.m. with the kitchen serving until 1:00 a.m.
Check out the food and beverage offerings here.
