When chef Brannon Florie’s restaurant The Granary moved locations, it temporarily halted brunch for a few weeks after opening. The location at 835 Coleman Blvd. recently folded a Sunday morning menu into the mix, so the good people of Mount Pleasant have extra options for mimosas and eggs.
Fans of The Granary will find some favorites on the menu, like the Brussels sprouts with maple, duck and waffles with peach-jalapeno jam, and the Fatboy, which is a gluttonous contruction of pork belly, scrambled eggs, sausage and pork belly gravy, with a biscuit and grits.
Compared to downtown prices, a $4 mimosa and $5 bloody mary is a steal at this Mount Pleasant stop.
With a patio, The Granary is one of the few choices for outdoor brunch in the Lowcounty. Brunch starts Sundays at 10:00 a.m. and runs until 2:00 p.m.
