Today the James Beard Foundation released its list of finalists in the 2017 Restaurant and Chef Awards in a Facebook live stream. The 2017 James Beard Awards Gala will be held at the Lyric Opera of Chicago on Monday, May 1, 2017. Winners of the 2017 James Beard Media Awards will be announced on Tuesday, April 25, 2017. Congratulations to all the names and teams from the Lowcountry. Tune in the next months to see how far they will go.
