The corner of Bogard and Coming Streets will be a restaurant this spring. Announced last month in Post & Courier, industry vets Geoffrey Shyatt (formerly of Scarecrow) and James London (formerly of Le Farfalle) are coming together to open Chubby Fish in Charleston. The name pretty much gives away the concept, but the restaurant will focus on local seafood for lunch, brunch, and dinner.

The duo hopes to open in April with Shyatt manning the front of house and London in the kitchen. They have released any more details, other than the location at 252 Coming St., but Eater did spot some potential branding for the restaurant on local designer Jay Fletcher’s Instagram account. While Fletcher doesn’t explicitly state that the logos are for Chubby Fish, the sardine can does have the first few letters of the name and the address. From the branding, it looks like the newcomer will be fun, casual, and have lots of seafood.

So much seafooding.
