After 21 years on the corner of Rutledge and Cannon Streets, Southern favorite Hominy Grill is changing things up with a new menu and adjusted hours. Chef Robert Stehling recently dismantled dinner service in favor of a breakfast-all-day menu with lunch starting at 11:30 a.m. Currently, the hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The revised menu offers morning items throughout the day and adds a few new features. Stehling writes:
The grit bowls are a big hit — especially the one with pork belly. No surprises there. I'm really liking the pimento cheese biscuit and sweet potato waffle. People seem to love being able to get breakfast all day.
Old favorites like the Charleston Nasty Biscuit and shrimp and grits are still present.
Below is the new Hominy Grill list of offerings.
