Tu Reservations Snapped Up Prior to Opening

Opening on November 24

Tu

A few lucky diners will get to preview forthcoming global restaurant Tu before the official opening on Friday, November 24. Tu co-owners Duolan Walker-Li, Josh Walker and Joey Ryan (the team from Xiao Bao Biscuit) announced on Instagram yesterday that a few tables would be available on Resy before November 24.

We’re doing 4 days of soft opening tomorrow thru Tuesday (closed Sunday) to test out all our systems before opening on 24th - just added some reservations for the public available via @Resy on our website ( link in bio). Everything will be discounted and they’ll be some special treats as well. See you at Tu !

These patrons will be among the first to try the Tu menu, which draws influences from multiple cultures and traditions. Cheese ice and habanero sits on the list of offerings along with chicken-fried steak, and a 1970s-inspired salad.

The select with reservations will also be the first to experience the dining room at 430 Meeting St., which is said to have “... high ceilings, pink plaster walls, terrazzo floors and glass entryway ...” Millennial pink has already taken over the New York dining scene, but now it’s Charleston’s turn.

Once open, Tu will seat 80 people with limited reservations. The restaurant opens Monday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to midnight.
