Xiao Bao Biscuit co-owners Duolan Walker-Li, Josh Walker and Joey Ryan are closer to opening their second restaurant Tu with the revealing of its website, menu, and hours. Located at 430 Meeting St., the new space will offer a menu full of varying influences from across the globe, like lamb with freekah and labneh or pastrami on a sauerkraut scallion pancake. It’s eclectic, funky, and like nothing else in Charleston right now.

Many of these items were on the menu for the Tu pop-ups that happened this summer, so they must have delighted the taste testers.
From the website, it’s also made clear that Tu will be a dinner-only eatery, with service on Monday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to midnight. The restaurant is mostly walk-ins, with reservations available for parties larger than 6. Also, in keeping with XBB tradition, there is no phone.
Keep tuned for an opening date and more information on Tu as it comes.
