Jacob Huder, current chef de cuisine of The Macintosh, will move into the executive chef position for the Upper King establishment. Original executive chef Jeremiah Bacon will transition to a more chef/co-owner position.

Huder has been with the farm-to-table restaurant since opening day in 2011. He moved up from sous chef to chef de cuisine and now to executive chef. Huder has already streamlined the menu — though, not to worry, the favorites, like deckle, the burger, the bone marrow bread pudding, and the gnudi are all still there. Going forward, Huder says he would like to highlight even more seafood and local produce. He hinted to look for more family-style plates like a ribeye for two, a pigs head, or whole fish for two.
