Chef Michael Toscano starts the year off with a pop-up series at his Italian restaurant Le Farfalle. Beginning this Sunday, January 8, Toscano welcomes chef Zach Swemle of La Morra Pizzeria to offer a limited pizza menu in addition to the Regular Le Farfalle dinner menu. This is the last time to catch La Morra Pizzeria before Swemle and partner Marlee Blodgett go off traveling.
Toscano writes:
We are excited to team up with the crew from La Morra as we feel we both share the same passion for quality ingredients and authenticity. This pop-up is especially timely as we are launching a weekly Sicilian deep dish pizza program at Le Farfalle. Starting next week, we will feature a rotating selection of deep dish pies every Wednesday night for dinner service. Just like La Morra, we are extremely passionate about pizza and are excited to begin offering it to our guests!
Later this month, the Beaufain Street restaurant will partner up with the food truck Short Grain and ramen masters 2 Nixons for two more pop-up events.
