Did somebody say Quickfire Challenge?

Charleston Wine + Food launched the list of events for the upcoming 2017 season last September. Buyers snapped up tickets in a matter of moments, and those wanting first dibs had to hop on the computers at 8:00 a.m., when the shopping started. While Eater predicted a few of the hot happenings, like the Chez Nous dinner with James Beard Award winner Renee Erickson or the Daniel Boulud Legacy Dinner, there’s still tons happening outside of the sit-down events.

Today, the festival announces that there will some Top Chef action happening in the Culinary Village. With the Bravo reality show still running the final episodes of the season filmed in Charleston, viewers are eagerly awaiting the winner. Fans will get to relive the show in Marion Square with a Top Chef-inspired Quickfire Challenge hosted by judge Gail Simmons and Lowcountry chef Frank Lee on Friday, March 3, at 1:00 p.m., on the Main Stage. Competing chefs will include: Emily Hahn, Jamie Lynch, Casey Thompson, John Tesar, Sarah Grueneberg, Dale Talde, Joy Crump, and Keith Rhodes. It’ll be a Top Chef reunion of sorts. Maybe Padma will show up too?
