Preeminent Charleston beer expert (and occasional Eater Charleston contributor) Timmons Pettigrew will join NoMo superstar Edmund’s Oast as Director of Group Operations. According to the press release, this means Pettigrew will “oversee a wide variety of responsibilities with the ever-expanding company. Duties include strategic planning, procurement, reporting, and more for the restaurant, the brewery, the exchange, and any other future endeavors.”
Pettigrew joins an already-strong team at the restaurant known for its beer program. Owner Scott Shor said, “With the continued growth and expansion of Edmund’s Oast, it was imperative that we add this key position to assist with the development and management of efforts. Timmons has been a long-time friend of the local beer community, The Charleston Beer Exchange and Edmund’s Oast, and we know his professional skills will be a major benefit to our success in the future.”
This statement also has us pondering how much more expansion we will see from Edmund’s Oast. Time for a second restaurant?
